The artists at SHED Studio in Montreal just completed a fun short entitled "Outside". This is a preview of what we can expect as the project is slated to expand to a full 7 minute long production by 2018. It's the studio's first original production and they're off to a great start. Here's a fun animated / live action video that's just gone up on YouTube. "Star Spangled Chicken" comes from UniquePublications which is currently developing content for their channel. The beak on the little chick that stars in the video was animated by Kristen Robertson who incidentally was a student of mine at one time.
It's always great to see new content that's been made possible because of crowdfunding. In this case the ARMSmasters proof of concept short by Alpha Omega Animation Design entitled Phase Zero. This remarkable effort is the result of a successful Kickstarter campaign. Congratulations to Michael Winn and crew on a great accomplishment. It's inspiring to see independently produced animation at this level of quality.
