'Internet Citizens: Defend Net Neutrality'

This is one of those videos where info about the production is not clear but whose content is very important to watch none the less. Net Neutrality has come under attack yet again recently as the Federal Communications Commission in the US has voted to allow mega corporations to restructure the Internet in our country. The vote was 3-2 in favor of a new aspect to the Internet that would allow huge corporations to take control and open the door to eventually phasing out the Web as we know it.

It boggles the mind that 3 unelected government officials have the power to change the Internet over the objections of the vast majority of people and businesses in America. Alas, that seems to be par for the course as more and more of the public is waking up to the extent of the corruption that exists in our country and all over the world when it comes to government and the mega corporations that have bought them out.

This video utilizes simple animation to explain just how this new Internet would work and why it is potentially so bad for us. It's an effective way of making a point. Much better than any article I've read so far about this topic. You can follow the discussion about defending Net Neutrality at this link where where the sponsor of the video is hosting a forum. Take a look at what's being planned and what we can expect should this legislation pass...
